Bid Executive

As a Bid Executive, you will take ownership of the complete bid lifecycle for government and public sector opportunities, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end bid lifecycle including RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and proactive pursuits for IT software and services opportunities.

• Manage bid planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution to ensure timely and high-quality proposal submissions.

• Prepare technical proposals, presentations, and supporting documentation aligned with client requirements.

• Ensure all proposal content is clear, compelling, compliant, and aligned with organizational standards.

• Work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Solution Architects, Delivery, Finance, Legal, and Leadership to develop strong win strategies.

• Develop and manage bid plans, storyboards, review cycles, and approval processes.

• Conduct bid eligibility assessments by mapping the organization’s capabilities and partner strengths.

• Manage government tender documentation including project charters, negotiations, work orders, agreements, consortium/JV arrangements, and PSU collaborations.

• Handle bids through GeM, nProcure, and other government e-procurement portals.

• Coordinate with partners, OEMs, and internal teams for technical and commercial proposal preparation.

• Ensure proposals meet compliance requirements, submission deadlines, and quality standards.

• Work independently with minimal supervision from the Government Sales Head.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong experience in government bid management.

Experience

• 4–5 years of experience in Bid Management / Proposal Management within an IT Software or IT Services organization in India.

• Hands-on experience working with Government of Gujarat and other Indian government tenders.

• 3–4 years of experience working with GeM, nProcure, and other government e-procurement portals.

• Proven experience managing large and complex software solution bids.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of proposal frameworks, compliance matrices, and bid governance processes.

• Experience preparing technical proposals, presentations, and bid documentation.

• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong experience in E-Governance, ERP, Digital Transformation, and Web Portal projects.

Experience handling government projects involving PSUs, consortium/JV partnerships, and multi-partner bids.

Proven ability to independently manage the complete bid lifecycle from opportunity identification to submission.

Strong documentation and proposal writing skills for government technology projects.
