What you’ll be doing...

  • Build web applications using Filament and the TALL stack (Tailwind, Alpine.js, Laravel, Livewire)

  • Develop backend modules, REST APIs, reusable components, and system integrations

  • Design and optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL schemas and queries

  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services

  • Follow Git workflows including branching, PRs, and code reviews

  • Deploy and manage applications on VPS, AWS, DigitalOcean, Laravel Forge or Ploi

  • Work effectively in sprint-based/Agile environments

  • Operate independently and deliver with minimal supervision

What we require...

  • 3 - 4 years of hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel

  • Practical experience with the TALL stack

  • Comfortably building interactive components using Livewire 

  • Filament expert – deep, demonstrable experience required

  • Solid API experience: building, consuming, authenticating, and scaling RESTful APIs

  • Strong understanding of Laravel internals: service container, service providers, queues, jobs, events, broadcasting, caching, validation, authorisation, and security best practices

  • Confident in architecting and delivering full features independently, end-to-end

  • A clear communicator with strong proficiency in English is essential.

  • Product-minded - you care about the why, not just the what

  • Self-motivated and hungry to do your best work

  • Able to thrive in a high-trust, high-ownership environment

You stand out:

  • Understanding of Laravel security practices (CSRF, XSS, rate limiting, validation, authorisation)

  • Deployment experience (VPS / AWS / DigitalOcean / Laravel Forge / Ploi)

  • Beginner to intermediate experience with React or Vue

  • Docker or containerization experience

  • CI/CD pipelines

  • Performance profiling and advanced query optimisation

  • UI/UX sense for building clean interfaces

  • Contributions to open source (share PRs or projects)
